In Georgetown, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Texas, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 amโ6 pm. Georgetown is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Georgetown follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

BEWARE: Tight parking lot and vehicle damage. If your vehicle is damaged here, donโt expect much help from management. We have been regular customers here because this nursery is close to our home, and until now we have genuinely enjoyed shopping here. Weโve purchased many plants and have always appreciated the advice we received, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I visited on Monday and parked directly in front of the entrance, in clear view of a security camera. The handicap space next to my vehicle was empty, so there should have been an unobstructed view of my car. When I returned home, I discovered a significant dent and white paint transfer on my vehicle. This was the only place I parked that day, so I am confident the damage occurred in this parking lot. We returned on Tuesday, explained what happened, provided the exact day and time, and left our phone number. We were told the owner would review the security footage and contact us. It is now Friday, and despite multiple follow-ups, no one has called us back. We have also received inconsistent information from different employees about whether the footage was reviewed and what it showed. Today we were

Driving by this establishment, it becomes easy to miss. But to the those who stop, you will be rewarded. Just from parking, you step out and feel the difference. You notice the serenity even though you are right next to a busy roadway. To a gardener, you notice the amount of care and compassion put into the each plant. For a beginner, there are many helpful guides, and signage just to get you started. Not only are there exotic plants, even I have never seen, but natives too. The staff were kind and industrious, working tirelessly but remaining nearby to be helpful. I'm glad I stopped here by a whim, and you will be glad too.

Bought my Granddaughter some ladybugs and praying mantis here. What was very important to learn is how to release these insects into your yard. You donโt just open the container and let them go. Thereโs a little bit of a process which I was not aware of. The other thing is that I asked about some unique plants to put on top of rocks or in crevices of rocks and they were very helpful in getting types that would work..

I am a homeschool teacher, and since itโs Spring, my student and I went to McIntireโs to purchase items to create an herb garden. We were greeted rather immediately by the former owner, Mark, whose daughter now owns and operates the nursery. He took the time to find out what our objectives were, and he spent time explaining the supplies needed while giving us expert advice on how to grow our mini garden. He helped us gather everything we needed and guided us the whole way through from start to finish. Itโs been a while since I have received such amazing and attentive customer service. I appreciate it immensely, and I canโt wait to watch our garden grow. Thanks, Mark, for being passionate about your job and taking time out of your day to assist us! ๐คฉ๐๐ผ

This is a great local garden supplies/plant store. They have plants, trees, much, soil, pots, planters, etc. - pretty much anything youโd need. We got great mulch at a good price, some of the flowering plants are on the pricier side but they did look like good plants. Staff were polite and helpful. Google Maps directions will take you to the back of the store but that is exit only - the entrance is on Leander Rd.
